conservative evangelicals will hate this book

An excellent book by a Roman Catholic which criticises the evangelical view that only Jesus can save and the catholic view that different religions are vehicles cf revelation but Jesus is the real way to God and these religions are on that way although they don't realise it. He argues for a Copernican revolution in our Christology which incorporates the major world religions in a unitive pluralism. This compliments and builds upon Alan Race's 'Christians and Religious Pluralism.'

This book is one of the most influential and inspiring books I have ever read. It helped me to develop a deeper understanding of my Christian faith, and in my view, is one of the most important books of our time. Without it, I would not be a committed Christian today.
